The park’s most spectacular features are its huge granite blocks and cliffs as well as meadows rich in wild flowers. Terelj offers fascinating rock formations including two famous formations named for things they resemble Turtle Rock(Mongolian: Melkhii Khad) and the Old Man Reading a Book(Praying Lama Rock) and small meditation temple on top of the hill with great view. The park is rich in flora and fauna and reminds of beautiful Alpine valleys. Great place for hiking and climbing! We will stay in Mongolian Nomadic family Ger.
